BORN 1962 PARIS , FRANCE.

Eric Besson, a highly acclaimed  artist from Bordeaux selected in 2006 by Marie-José and Philippe Bouscayrol  to be on the front cover of "Artistes du XV°au XXI° siècle " instead of Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Since 2000 Eric has been recognised by various dignitaries including Claude Pompidou and Jacques Chirac, Jean Galard  the Louvre, and Presidents of the French Republic Nicolas Sarkozy and François Hollande. 

In 2012  the Mayor of Bordeaux, Alain Juppé praised Eric Besson for his artistic approach of"Art Avenue Montaigne" whose audience has exceeded 1000 000 visits through its "Artistic Movement Avenue Montaigne."

His creations would be a combination of research, observation, energy, passion and enthusiasm resulting in a  complimentary palette of strong vibrant colours transforming illusions and moods on canvas,varies between the Abstract and Figurative.    
 

Eric Besson is now considered one of the great artists of his generation in France.
